Lick Estate provides trout fishing and sailing possibilities throughout its low ground, with meadowland and native woodlands on the approach to the heather clad hill and summits where stalking can be enjoyed.

Walking

The 2000 acres of the Lick Estate offers some fabulous walks. Take a gentle stroll along the shores of Loch Tummel, or stride high to the peak of Faragon and other hills. Navigation is easy, as long and you can see Loch Tummel you’ll find your way home.

Horse-riding

With easy access to the hills there are fabulous riding opportunities for those who wish to bring there own horses. We provide inclosed grazing with fresh water from the hills

Fishing

The estate offers 1 mile of Loch Tummel’s shoreline to fish from, but for those with an energetic disposition, hill loch fishing can be enjoyed on its two beautiful remote lochans, and salmon fishing is only a short drive away on the world-famous river Tay.

Stalking

Forming an integral part of the Strathtay Deer Management Group, Lick Estate has played its part in working successfully for more than 20 years to ensure a constantly improving and sustainable population of deer is maintained. The five year average for stalking on the estate is nine stags and 20 hinds per annum.

Local Activites

Perthshire is at the heart of Scottish tourism and offers something for everyone. Loch Tummel enjoys a thriving sailing club and annual regatta, is a particular asset. Skiing can be enjoyed in the winter months at Aviemore, Glenshee and Glencoe, and there are local facilities for the keen golfer.

For adventure hunters, there are safaris to explore the local areas and further afield. If you fancy a spot of off-roading you might find yourself at a hidden watering hole or one of the numerous rustic and fine dining establishments scattered around Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. For more information please see Visit Scotland.

The retail paradise of the House of Bruar where you can enjoy a stimulating walk up to the falls of Bruar combined with gormet dining and luxury shopping, is within an easy driving distance from the estate.

If pampering is what you are after, indugle yourself in the local chocolatier‘s creations, plan a visit to Gleneagles or relax at one of the many spas in Pitlochry, before heading out for a night at the Theatre. There is even a local distillery, where you can enjoy a quiet dram or two from Single Malt made in the traditional way.
